Love is the most powerful energy that we can harness. Tapping into and running the universal energy of Love creates powerful opportunities for healing.
I was skeptical, but after my knee surgery I was in a lot of pain and also felt very traumatized by the whole experience of surgery. I was taking a lot of pain medication and my surgery leg and foot were at times numb and always cold. I knew Kimiko had been practicing Healing Pathways and she offered to come and do a treatment. Kimiko came to my home and quickly put me at ease with her gentle, calming presence. During part of my treatment, I actually felt the gentle drain of pain from the leg. Afterwards my cold foot was warmer -- and I slept a deep restful sleep like I had not had since pre-surgery. My pain lessened exponentially and I stopped taking the heavy duty pain medication. Kimiko has an amazing gift of healing. She has since helped my husband and my daughter!
Wellness. Balance. Harmony.
Although the grandfather I knew, Grandpa Kabayama, was also the Reverend Jun Kabayama, a minister in the United Church of Canada, he grew up in the vestiges of the feudal system in Japan. He was raised a samurai.
Seiki as a healing art was practiced by the samurai and was largely a hidden art. Years after I found myself called into healing ministries I learned this connection.

Healing House Tribute
I will turtle this house
carry it with me
an auric field, an energenic memory of deep connection
sacred learning, profound gratitude
I have been blessed by every moment here
by angels and spirit friends
by people laying their whole selves out, saying "touch me"
by stories spoken in words and held in bodies
by song and images
by questions, wonderings and moments of deepened understanding
This sanctuary, this space of convergence, this gathering place
this house where healing soaks the walls, carried in by hands
trembling and eager and gentle and wise and open and
clenched and smooth and frail and gnarled and. . .
I am gentled and strengthened by this house whose presence
in and around me
slows my frantic pace, instills my steps with intention
and with it I walk in the world as

"thanks be to God"
"From earliest times, the therapeutic power of touch has been recognized and has been raised to a sacramental significance in both the religious sphere and beyond it. Medicine men, shamans, healers from every culture and part of the globe have used--and continue to use--sacred touch as the medium of blessing (and) restoring health." Tom Harpur
